Le chef d'Orchestre sculpte le matériau orchestral et organise l'image sonore.

      Ici la résonnance aigüe d'une flûte éthérée ou la transitoire d'une cymbale sans état d'âme,

      Là l'ombre d'une clarinette caressante ou l'insolence d'une trompette incisive.

      Le geste souple il déploie l'horizontalité de la Musique.

      Le geste précis il installe la verticalité des sons.

      Les musiciens suspendus à sa gestuelle créatrice presque pantomimique , engagent leur responsabilité solistique avec ferveur et avancent dans l'oeuvre en cherchant les regards voisins et complices.

      Dans ces instants comptés , mesurés , rythmés , les couleurs se forment , s'additionnent , se chevauchent , pour remplir le cadre.

      Corps tendus , visages concentrés , respirations solidaires , les Vents libèrent leur souffle et les Cordes à l'unisson la pression de leurs archets.

....et tout peut arriver!

      J'attends ce moment où l'accélèration des évènements produit l'effet que je pressens....et j'appuie sur le déclencheur.

The conductor sculpts the orchestral material and arranges the resonant image: 

Here the sharp resonance of an ethereal flute or the soulless transition of a cymbal; 

There, the shadow of a caressing clarinet or the insolence of a piercing trumpet.

With a supple gesture he unfolds the horizontality of the music.

With a precise gesture he sets the verticality of the sounds.

The musicians suspended by his creative gesture, almost pantomimic, engaging their soloist responsibility with fervour and advancing in the work by seeking neighbouring and conspiring glances.

In these moments, counted, measured, and rhythmical, the colours are formed, added together, and overlap to fill the frame.

Bodies tensed, faces concentrated, breathing in harmony, the Winds liberate their breath and the Strings in unison, the pressure of their bows.

…..and anything can happen!

I wait for this moment where the acceleration of events produces an effect that strikes me… and I press the shutter release
